Thus proclaimed Bookstooge, the Sage of the Diet of Sohdah and Utterer of Deep Mysteries, whilst traveling upon the highways and byways.

3 Dooms I pronounce against thee! Let all hear and tremble at my words.

DooM

21st Century Cant spewed, out of Time and Place

My soul loathes such an abomination

DoOoM

Where 10 words would do, yay 5 would suffice, 30 were squandered

Garner not my attention with vain repetitions and overly long descriptive paragraphs, for such things the Indies do, thinking to make their books be read on high

In the end, I cast them down into the pit, into the mire, to languish and such shall be done to thee

DoOoOoM

Bore. Me. Not.

Am I a god? Am I not mortal, like thee, with a mortal’s lifespan?

Waste not my time, thou wretch, lest thou be consigned to the Dust Heaps of History

Here ends the 3 Dooms of Bookstooge

    1. yeah, today was just the kind of day that I needed to do something very different. And for me, doing something different means writing my review differently. I guess I’m just a born rebel 😀

Glad you enjoyed it. It was pretty fun to write…

    1. I wondered if this might happen from a few things in the first book. So it didn’t come as a complete surprise, but I have to admit, I was hoping for a bit more Jane Austen with Dragons 🙂

        1. Aaaaaaand…
I just read the synopsis thing on her website. I won’t be touching that with a 10ft pole. It screams “romance” with some fantasy elements.

That was a close one 😀

  1. The first time I saw this series, I was quite intrigued by the covers (pretty sexy if you ask me), but then I find myself with a bunch of people here and there who didn’t really enjoy this (with the ocassional peepz who really liked it). This review was freeeeaaking hilarious though! Good stuff. Really curious about what’s up with this book 😀

PS I recognised this post instantly by the way – thought I commented again but I had “travel brain”- and it cracked me up just as much the second time round!!

    1. Glad it stood up to a second reading. Sometimes what seems “clever” is, upon reflection, just sleep deprivation or pure idiocy hiding itself 🙂

I got your email and will respond later this evening.
