Blogging Projects are fun. They give you an idea, something to work with and you run with them. Recently, ThemisAthena moved over to her new site and introduced 2 new projects and the Alphabet of Likes & Dislikes sounded interesting. Then she did her second day of the letter “B” and I realized “Hey, this seems like a lot of fun and it’s something I can do slowly over the year.” Thus, in the Fires of Inspiration, Project X was born!
Yes, Bookstooge is now Bionic! And with my bionic powers I will be bionically writing 26 posts about my Likes and Dislikes taken directly from the bionic alphabet. AMAZING! Tune in next month, bionically, for our shows exciting, astounding and completely awesome bionic first episode! Don’t miss it! (or you’ll owe me 6 million dollars)
I cant even pay you six cents mate😂. Good luck with this project. Sounds like fun

I’ll get to it later this evening. This has been one of “those days” so I’m dealing with a host of crap.
If you don’t have to deal with cars, don’t. They’re the devils spawn!

So far we are not allowed to use ours, so it is oke. A nessasary evil… hope it will work out mate. If there is anything i can do to help let me know. I can google tutorials for fixing things so long…

Sadly, modern cars are beyond joe schmoes like me fixing them. Thankfully, we don’t have to get it fixed until March, but man, it is going to cost enough so it’s setting back other plans for the year.
Thanks for the support though, appreciate it 🙂

One every two weeks?

TA, if you see this, I’m having trouble commenting on your blog, both through wordpress and the form. On wordpress it doesn’t sign me in (I occasionally have this problem on certain blogs) and with the form I get “invalid security token”.
LikeLiked by 2 people
Cleo,
the invalid security token has been going on with almost every blog not directly hosted by wpdotcom for several weeks now. You can get around it by opening the post in the reader and commenting from there.
That’s the only way I’ve found to get around it. Hope that helps.

Yes, I‘m aware of the issue; sorry this is happening. 😦 It‘s unfortunately not something I can fix on my own — I do have a https protocol, but either WP or my hosting service doesn‘t recognize it (I‘m guessing WP, since the hosting service is where I got the protocol in the first place). It may unfortunately be a while until this gets fixed, as it requires professional assistance … in the interim, those who are able to comment on my blog seem to be doing so from the WP Reader (preferably the mobile version?) (Bookstooge?) … maybe that‘s going to work for you, too?

I comment from the reader on my laptop.
and it is definitely WP’s problem. Several non wpdotcom people suddenly all had the same comment issue.
LikeLiked by 2 people
Thank you for commenting. Sigh. It‘s good to know I‘m not alone, I guess, though really I‘d much rather not have the problem at all, obviously …

Thanks, you two. I almost never go into my reader because I’m self-hosted but I CAN get into it so I’ll remember to try from there. I know I can do it on wordpress sites easily but if it’s not wordpress i’m not sure how to do it but I’ll figure it out.

Yeah, it really sucks when some other company takes away the ability of people on YOUR blog to comment.

Probably closer to twice a month.
LikeLiked by 1 person
12 of one, a dozen of the other? 😀 I realize that “every two weeks“ isn‘t *exactly* the same thing as “twice a month“ … but it WAS the sort of interval I was thinking of, what with 52 weeks to the year and all that … 🙂

I thought about going for every 2 weeks, but since my blogging schedule is based on a monthly basis (ie, repeat of certain postings on a monthly basis), it was easier to do it that way.

Nope! As Misty would say when I demand money, it’s a complex algorithm, but it goes something like, “No. You owe me twelve million.”
🤣🤣

Yeah, those “algorithms” 🙄

Yep. It’s a tough one to guess, but I’m getting better at circumventing her money algorithm. I’m trying to build one where you put one dollar in, get two out, if your socially adequate.
As far as the blogging project goes, can’t wait to see what you have in store!

You should probably sue them for IP infringement, hahahaha.
Me too! This project is so super secret that I’ve kept it a secret even from myself 😀
