Looks like your volcano is erupting. I’d put a plug in that pronto. Nice bird of paradise you have there, would be a shame if it got all covered in lava.

It’s only a little volcano, just enough to keep paradise warm 😀

Are these the ones that fly up your nose?

Unless paradise has changed its meaning since I last looked, I don’t think so.
Are there birds that fly up your nose in Canada?

Sheesh. Kids these days with no understanding of their rich cultural inheritance.

I expect mana birds to be blue… 😦

Green has always had the mana abilities.
Or did you mean the color in the drawing itself?

I meant the colour hahah in every video game where there’s HP (life) or mana (magic), mana has always been blue! 😀

A purdy birds but wouldn’t want one up my nose.

Birdy not birds! Birds does NOT rhyme with purdy, stoopid let’s-correct-your-word-that-doesn’t-need-correcting iPad. Pfft.

Edited this. Just so you know.
But yeah, autocorrect can be a real pain…

Ooh sorry Booky. I’ve never been edited before, it didn’t hurt. 🤣

There are a lot of different iterations of this card, aren’t there? I was taught how to play by an ex-boyfriend, he’d been playing/collecting MTG for years so he had a huge collection and I remember all the pretty bird of paradise versions I could choose for my deck 🙂

This card was in a lot of sets throughout the years and there were 5 or 6 iterations of it, but the most common (because it was the original and thus WotC didn’t have to pay as much each time they used it) was this version. It was in Alpha and didn’t change until 7th edition 🙂
