Is this your new profile pic? Less than enchanting if you ask me…

Oh, I think it’s very magical as a profile pix. makes one feel safe and warm and fuzzy 😉

Well I should certainly hope that the protection wouldn’t destroy you. Wouldn’t be much protection if it did.

Read the card correctly Mr Good. It doesn’t destroy itself. It might still destroy you if mishandled. With great power comes great responsibility after all.
We can see this being played out with the MCU. It is devouring itself…..

Ha!
I don’t know if I’ve seen airplane the whole way through or not. Or if I get it mixed up with other movies in my head. Does it star Leslie Nielson?

Yep, that’s the one.

I had this card! One of the prettiest in my deck, but had to trade it as I used greens mostly…

The “wards” were a cool set. I remember mashing them into every white deck that I could until I realized the space they took up could be better utilized with other cards 🙂

Is Black Ward related to Burt Ward of Robin fame? Asking for a friend.

Yes! Bless that campy old 1960s TV show; Kapow!

What a coincidence!
It showed up on prime for free so I started watching it this past weekend. I could only handle about 2 episodes at a time though. It was pretty bad “obey the law” propaganda

I haven’t watched it in years. I enjoyed it as a kid but get the feeling it hasn’t aged well…

I wouldn’t be enchanted if that turned up on my doorstep.

That looks like a neat tattoo. Would you ever get one? 😀

I am not a tattoo person, mainly for theological reasons.
Leviticus 19:28 reads as follows:
“You shall not make any cuts on your body for the dead or tattoo yourselves: I am the Lord.”
Now, a lot of Christians will argue that this was a requirement for Old Testament Israel and thus doesn’t apply to Christians (just like a Christian doesn’t have to offer an animal sacrifice every day) but I always take the tack that if God said something that wasn’t directly replaced or abolished in the New testament, then we should dismiss it very cautiously.
So you won’t hear me calling another Christian who has tattoos a pagan heathen who’s going to hell. But it is a tiny step in that Christian’s life where they become just like everybody else in the world and ignore what the Bible itself says. Enough of those tiny steps and before you know it, well, you aren’t a Christian anymore.
Sorry, didn’t mean to get that involved…..

It’s nice to hear about these kinds of dilemmas that some might have regarding interpretations, so thanks for sharing. 😀
