Who doesn’t like a good filibuster? Personally, ANYTHING that stops government from doing something is a good thing in my eyes. 99 times out of 100 they’re trying to do something bad anyway. Ok, that’s a slight exaggeration. 9 times out of 10 😉
DISLIKE Fabio
Yeah, not so much. I don’t even feel it’s necessary to elaborate.

LIKE Energy Drinks
I like energy drinks and caffeine. As you can see from the pix above, I am an equal opportunity drinker. I have a dream where the contents of an energy drink will be judged on how tasty and yummy it is and not on the appearance of its can! #monstercansmatter
Energy drinks: cooling, refreshing, energizing, enlightening. What more could you ask from a refrigerated beverage?
DISLIKE Energy Drinks
Energy drinks and caffeine, a scourge of mankind! A promise of unlimited energy that in the end enslaves the drinker and brings him down to lows he didn’t think could even exist!
Ellen White, one of the founders of the 7th Day Adventist church, has this to say about such things: “Diseases of every stripe and type have been brought upon human beings by the use of tea and coffee and the narcotics, opium and tobacco. These hurtful indulgences must be given up, not only one but all; for all are hurtful, and ruinous to the physical, mental, and moral powers, and should be discontinued from a health standpoint.”

LIKE Dune
While I am not sure that Dune is my favoritest book ever, it is pretty close! . Outside of the Bible, Dune is the one book I have re-read the most. By that metric I guess it is my favorite. (Way-Farer is the only other novel that I’ve re-read as many times)
DISLIKE Dogs
And this is where Project X goes where Angels Fear to Tread. I was run over by an over-enthusiastic dog when I was a young boy and that has shaped my outlook ever since. To be honest, it’s not “dogs” per se that I dislike, but untrained dogs and their forsaken lazy no good useless owners. Get your forsaken dog fixed and trained and then I’ll like dogs.
As you can see, Project X doesn’t shy away from the tough topics of our day. Our Bionic Eye, much like the eye of sauron, gazes ceaselessly across the internet of things to tell you our opinion on The Things.

LIKE Coke
Coke Zero Orange Vanilla to be specific. Coke Zero Vanilla used to be my gold standard for soda, but once I tasted this new variant back in ’19, I was hooked! Sadly, it isn’t always on the shelf of the grocery story.
DISLIKE Cursing
Cursing shows a lack of self-control and imagination in the person who uses it. It is condemned throughout the Bible and is grouped with such other sins as lying, murder, stealing and adultery (from Hosea chapter 4). It is also something I struggle with, greatly.

LIKE Bananas
I like bananas. Almost as much as apples in fact. Bananas make a fantastic breakfast for someone who isn’t a breakfast person. Sweet, easy on the stomach and not filling or weighing you down, bananas are God’s gift to those who get up early and take a while to get going.
DISLIKE Bots
Those frakking bots, especially the spanisho ones! While I’ve obviously ranted about bots before, I’d just like to take a minute and think some horribly nasty thoughts towards the people who created them ….. there, nasty thoughts thought. Mission Accomplished! Feel free in joining me after this post in burning those people at the stake!

LIKE Apples
I like apples. A lot. In fact, I try to eat an apple every day for my lunch. Skin, fruit, core and seeds, I eat the whole thing! While I’m ok with the occasional granny smith, I prefer the sweeter varieties.
DISLIKE Arguments
Yeah, not a big fan of arguments anymore. I used to be. Back in my teens and 20’s, I’d throw down the proverbial gauntlet and let the metaphorical blood flow like a river! Now? Just thinking about arguing makes me tired. Plus, I think I can count on one hand the times someone else has changed my mind by arguing with me, so I’m sure the reverse is also true.
I realize I’m starting Project X off pretty light, both in terms of subject matter and length. However, we’re in this for the long haul. If you haven’t checked your alphabet lately, there are 26 of those rascally letters. To chase them all down, even bionically powered as I am, it’s going to take true grit and determination. Pacing is essential to Supreme Success.
Blogging Projects are fun. They give you an idea, something to work with and you run with them. Recently, ThemisAthena moved over to her new site and introduced 2 new projects and the Alphabet of Likes & Dislikes sounded interesting. Then she did her second day of the letter “B” and I realized “Hey, this seems like a lot of fun and it’s something I can do slowly over the year.” Thus, in the Fires of Inspiration, Project X was born!
Yes, Bookstooge is now Bionic! And with my bionic powers I will be bionically writing 26 posts about my Likes and Dislikes taken directly from the bionic alphabet. AMAZING!
